We develop learners’ social consciousness and cognitive skills though adopting the latest teaching and learning methodologies. We aspire to raise the standards of English Language Teaching consistently and continuously. Teaching has been our focus since 1988, and throughout these years, our name has been synonymous with innovative teaching materials, meeting the evolving needs of students and teachers alike.

High-quality educational material

Since 1988, we have released more than 3500 titles of educational material, sold in over 135 countries worldwide. Numerous Ministries of Education around the globe trust Express Publishing to deliver high-quality teaching and learning material. Each product is meticulously designed to serve learners’ needs, incorporating cross-cultural and cross-curricular elements, while focusing on in-depth grammatical structures and integrated skills. Three piloting schools systematically test each book before launch, ensuring that they meet the high standards that the company is known for.

Our educational material aims to maximise the impact we can make as an international organisation. We integrate our core values into every book that we launch. While respecting cultural sensitivities, we aspire to raise the intellectual abilities of learners and focus on teaching universal values. Creating book characters with different cultural backgrounds and character traits leads the way for a more diverse and inclusive society. Express Publishing is committed to worldwide issues in an attempt to educate learners, raise awareness and ultimately drive change.

Guide learners about environmental and social issues. Since language teaching is much more than speaking the language itself, we touch upon valuable topics that will make students not passive recipients, but citizens of the world.

Raise awareness about environmental and social issues. Through our educational materials, we aspire to make our learners care about our planet and society.

Empower students to take action by offering global knowledge and awareness. Education can mobilise people and we aim to positively impact as many people as possible through our learning material.

We take initiatives that make a positive impact to our planet and society. We believe that education can change the world for the better and we aspire to make pathways for a more viable future. We initiate actions that benefit the environment and society as a whole, and we adopt the highest ethical standards in the way we do business.

Environment

Carrying out initiatives, aspiring to do our part to help the environment. We are an international organisation that cares about nature and we organise initiatives that will help to preserve it. We try to create the conditions for economic development with due respect for the environment and we act in accordance with all environmental laws and national regulations.

In 2020, we partnered with ONETREEPLANTED, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. For 12 months, with every order placed, a donation was made that helped plant a tree in Europe.

In 2020, our company commenced our participation in tree planting events. In the theme of ‘Be part of the solution not part of the pollution’, hundreds of trees were planted with the aim of protecting and restoring our environment.  

In 2018, we began supporting to KAZ (Shelter for Stray Animals), a non-profit association dedicated to looking after stray animals in Greece.

Society

Taking action towards building a more equitable society, and making education accessible to all.
We are working towards building the society we imagine, one book at a time. Our initiatives aim to improve people’s and children’s lives and raise awareness of taking a stance on social issues. Education has the power to drive change and we are committed to reflecting that in our actions. We are proud to have partnered with organisations that contribute to society and show us the way to do it too.

About 258 million children and youth are out of school and in all regions, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of education exclusion, according to data from UNESCO. Express Publishing has a vision of a world with equal educational opportunities. By supporting the Our Hearts 4 Africans foundation, we get the chance to take steps towards building a more socially inclusive world. The foundation, established in 2019, envisions empowering women and children coming from vulnerable Ugandan communities economically, socially and politically.
We have contributed to building a school in Uganda and to providing it with books and stationery for the children. The school has already started being built and we are committed to continuing to donate.

In 2022, Express Publishing and Special Olympics Hellas teamed up to play bocce and send a loud message on the importance of volunteering, inclusion, and co-existence!

Every year, Express Publishing provides the English educational material that the schools of The Smile of the Child and ActionAid need, contributing to their important role.
