Express Publishing was founded by an educator and started with just one grammar textbook. Functional Grammar was made with teachers in mind, giving them a resource that was both reliable and relevant to their needs.

Drawing on real classroom experience, Virginia Evans brought new approaches to English Language Teaching with materials that stood out. From Enterprise to English for Specific Purposes and our software solutions, she inspired a new generation of educators who found purpose in teaching through content that built strong communication, essential life skills, and solid language abilities.

Today, our comprehensive series, skill-specific resources, and digital tools build on our rich legacy of trust and reach students in over 120 countries.
